Eating Fried Chicken and Waffles on Main Street

With the promise of brunch, I managed to peel myself off the couch to hang out on Main St for a few hours. We ended up at Portland Craft. I had their much hyped Chicken and Waffles. Verdict? DELICIOUS. The waffles were as expected, sweet, crisp, fresh, a perfect bed for their lightly spiced fried chicken. Sweet, out of season watermelon was served on the side with maple syrup and gravy. Delicious. A taste of summer amid the rain and cutting wind.. I'll be back and I'll bring my camera with a more thorough review for you.

I apologize for the lack of photography  to this post. I usually like to take a photo of the place as well as Jong's meal but it was very spur of the moment without my Camera. I'm not very inspired by the photos my iPhone produces but this fried chicken was too good not to share with you.

I also have been fighting a lung infection for over 35 days now, which included fevers, chills, headaches, persistent cough/wheezing and a general lack of energy to do more than watch Netflix. I'll be back into the swing of things this week, then will be spending a gluttonous week in New York on a Girl's weekend with my best gal. Expect many delectable food pics as a result. If you are curious, you can follow along on our journey on Instagram.
